TAMBUWAL AT 55!
Fifty five years ago
A child was born solo

Into an aristocratic family
Full of nobility and erudition

Christened an honourable name
Aminu according to the tradition

We’ve gifted Nigeria Aminu
A trusted servant of the nation

Everyone clapped and chorused
In shaa Allah to this proclamation

They envision him as a Teacher
To perpetuate family recognition

Allah had a better Plan
He amplified this Prediction

From a Teacher he morphed
To a solicitor in specialization

Thence into political waters
All to serve The Nigerian nation

Debuted as humble Assistant
To the acme of national legislation

A number four citizenship
Out of multitudes in the Nation

Allah continued elevating him
Reaching privileged position

Of governing our dear State
The seat of politics and religion

To an enviable pedestal
Deputy Chair if Tzars of the Nation

But for an inexplicable fate
He should be at the Helm of the Nation

Such are bountiful Blessings
Allah bestowed upon Mutawallen

Very few we’re so Honoured

Still fewer we’re called in

He remained focused and unshakable
In spite of many distractions

O Allah the Lord of Creation
Grant him more wisdom and protection

Lift him further up the ladder
In service of Nigerians and Humanity!
