In his usual troll against the opposition camp, Femi Fani-Kayode on Sunday knocked former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi over their different previous proclamations.
HausaToday reports that the Director of Special Media Projects and Operations and New Media, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council took to his Twitter page earlier today to lampoon Atiku over a statement through his spokesman, Paul Ibe, which likened APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu to “a drug baron applying for the job of head of an anti-narcotics agency when other drug dealers are spending time in jail.”
Ibe’s statement, however, did not go down well with Fani-Kayode who on the microblogging platform warned the opposition camp and its presidential candidate to tame its tongues.
“Tinubu Is like a drug baron” – Atiku, Do you really want this dance?” Fani-Kayode tweeted.
The APC chieftain added: “Thought we agreed to keep it clean? You have thrown the first punch: we shall throw the last. Those that indulge in “spread my butt0cks” parties in Dubai cannot afford to throw stones at others. Be warned”.
HausaToday understands that Atiku’s spokesman made the ‘derogatory’ comment against Tinubu while responding to a claim by the spokesman of the APC, presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo who had likened Atiku to a bus conductor applying for a driver’s job.
The Minister of State for Labour and Employment had said that Atiku was only hanging onto the achievements of his former boss, former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
According to Keyamo, the former Vice President had no achievement to sell to Nigerians ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Peter Obi Supports Gay Killing
In a different post, Fani-Kayode accused Labour Party presidential candidate (LP), Peter Obi of supporting the killing of gays in Nigeria.
HausaToday reports that the Former Minister of Aviation was referring to a statement months ago by LP Vice Presidential Candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.
Baba-Ahmed had years ago while in the Senate stated his position on Nigerians involved in same-sex activities. While giving his contribution during the plenary in 2014, Baba-Ahmed opined that such ‘elements’ should be killed in society.
The Vice Presidential candidate, however, recently said that his statement at the time was misunderstood. According to him, recent claims that he suggested killing gays during a debate on the Senate floor in 2011 were taken out of context.
However, in a fresh reaction on Sunday, Fani-Kayode said there is no doubt that Obi’s Vice supports the killing of gays in Nigeria.
”Peter’s running mate, Dati Ahmed, believes gays should be killed. No doubt Peter secretly shares his view.
”Killing people as a penalty for their sexual orientation & choices is a reflection of the fascistic & barbaric society that the Obidients want to foist on us. God forbid,” The APC chieftain tweeted on Sunday.
